“PG-Wan” and “Fatigued” [Updated]

This past weekend, a short piece of creative nonfiction about my late father, titled PG-Wan was published by Assignment Online. I’ve written several pieces about my dad for this market, and it’s helped–but I think this is the first one that’s happy and maybe even a little funny for the title and setting.

And an upcoming publication…

In April, I was invited to submit to an anthology Z Publishing is putting together. They’re doing books for each state, containing work of emerging writers. I submitted five short stories to them–all from my M.A. fiction coursework (though edited this year). I received an email from them yesterday accepting one of these pieces, a short story titled “Fatigued.”

I’m looking forward to participating in this project, and will share information with you when I can about how you can get your hands on a copy. It feels good to be sending my fiction out again after a few years of not doing so. I’m not really sure why I stopped.

[Update]: Pre-order your copy! The release date is 9/5/18.
