The Lion and the Wolf

In the seventeenth century, James Stanworth is trying to stop a war. A fur-trader and interpreter, he finds himself up against rivals from Europe and the New World, as well as himself. Does he have the skill and confidence to become a diplomat?

A work of historical fiction, The Lion and the Wolf takes place in the years leading up to–and during–the Pequot War, and follow James from his daring escape from England to his experiences in Virginia and New England. A story of self-discovery and friendship across cultural divides, The Lion and the Wolf is in the works. Stay tuned for updates.
